Sunset Over The Alps
I am still feeling like an inspired alpine mountain man going through my images from last weekend. I really liked the way this one turned out. I took this picture at about 10:30 at night from my hotel window. They sky was really amazing looking and I just imagined the mountains as a black silhouette. The photograph turned out just how I had imagined.

Sunset In the Alps Near Hornberg
I absolutely love spending time in the Alps. I don’t do it nearly enough. There is something about the grand scale of the Alps, the proximity to nature, the lack of urban sprawl that really inspire me.
There is an indescribable feeling of being up in the mountains all by yourself and looking over the vast valley below. For me it is almost a meditative feeling.
After spending last weekend up in the Alps I am pretty sure I would like to plan to spend a week in the mountains late this summer or in the fall. I really think that would be a great vacation. I feel like I have seen a lot of Europe but I haven’t spent enough time really enjoying the thing that makes Switzerland what is is.
