A Walk Through the Farm Land

Seems like I have been taking a lot of walks after work lately. I have been pretty busy, trying to juggle alot of different things both at work and at home. I find that a good walk is a nice way to relax and unwind.

When I walk through the rural areas of Switzerland it gives me a chance to put other things out of my mind for a bit. It is a nice island of tranquility, and place to wander and forget, contemplate, or sometimes make decisions.

The apartment at this time of the year is also unbearably hot in the evenings. August is always a tough month for the heat. It doesn't really cool off until about 9:00. So it is best to just get out. This evening we took a short walk through town and ended up sitting on a bench by the river for a bit just reading and relaxing.
